Romans: The Process and Benefits of Justification

Jul 21, 2024    Leke Aina

This sermon delves into Romans 5, exploring the profound implications of Adam's sin and Christ's sacrifice for humanity. It emphasizes that Adam's disobedience introduced sin and death into the world, leaving all humans inherently sinful. Despite a period "before the Law," where God extended grace, humanity remained captive to their sin nature. However, just as sin came through one man, God's righteousness is freely given through Jesus's sacrifice, offering reconciliation and a new identity as righteous in God's eyes. This undeserved gift, motivated by God's immense love, allows believers to have peace with God and stand innocent before Him.
