Beyond the Tithe Giving

Giving beyond the tithe simply means anything you give above that first 10%. In Malachi 3:10, God invites us to trust Him with our generosity:
“Test me in this,” He says.

It’s an opportunity to give with open hands—whether it’s an extra gift to the general fund or to a special project like Open Hands Backpack or Missions. When we give beyond, we open the door to seeing God’s faithfulness in new and powerful ways.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I receive a refund for a charitable contribution?
In order to comply with IRS guidelines for charitable contributions, all gifts made to theBridge are considered non-refundable. For a gift to qualify as a charitable contribution, it must be given freely, without conditions, and cannot be returned once received.
That said, we understand that mistakes can happen. In the case of accidental or duplicate contributions, exceptions may be made at the discretion of our Finance Team and church council.

How do I view my giving history?
Want to check your giving history? Just click “Manage My Giving” above or open the app and sign in. In the app, tap the donor icon in the top right corner to access your profile. Then scroll down to the "Giving" section and tap on “Gift History” to see all your contributions—it’s that simple!
How does theBridge spend the money you give?
Every gift to theBridge helps move the mission of Jesus forward. Your generosity supports worship services, pastoral care, outreach in our community, global missions, next-gen ministry, and the ongoing care of our church building—everything we need to help people connect with Christ and grow in faith.
How do I change my recurring gift?
To manage your recurring gift, just click “Manage My Giving” above or open the giving app and sign in. In the app, tap the donor icon in the top right corner to open your profile. Then scroll down to the "Giving" section and select “Scheduled Gifts” to view, edit, or cancel your recurring donations—it’s simple and stress-free!
What is the deadline for annual contributions?
To make sure your gift counts for this year’s giving statement, Cash and check contributions need to be received or postmarked by December 31. If you're giving online, be sure to complete the transaction by 11:59 PM ET on December 31.

How do I update my information?
Need to make a quick update to your profile? Just click “Manage My Giving” above or open the giving app and sign in. In the app, tap the donor icon in the top right corner to pull up your profile. Then click on your name—you’ll be able to update your phone number, email, or address in just a few taps!
How do I receive a contribution statement?
Contribution statements are mailed out each year by January 31 for the previous year’s giving. If you've moved recently, it’s super important to update your info so your statement makes it to the right place! Just click “Manage My Giving” above or sign in through the app. In the app, tap the donor icon in the top right corner to open your profile, then click on your name to update your address and contact info.

How do I manage my payment methods
Need to update your payment method? Just click “Manage My Giving” above or open the giving app and sign in. in the app, tap the donor icon in the top right corner to access your profile, then scroll down to the "Giving" section and select “Payment Methods.” From there, you can view, edit, or remove a card—just don’t forget to delete any old ones you no longer use!
