Each month, our church family gathers around a prayer declaration rooted in Scripture. Together, we pray with faith and seek God for our lives, families, church, and community.

Prayer Declaration: August

Lord, Teach Us to Pray

Father, this month we come with one desire: Teach us to pray. 

Teach us to seek You more.

Lord, teach us to delight in Your presence more than in the answers we seek.
Lord, teach us to hunger for fellowship with You until prayer becomes our daily
lifestyle.

Teach us to become more like You.

Lord, teach us to pray until Christ is fully formed in us.
Lord, teach us to remain in Your presence until every stronghold is broken and Your
character is revealed in us.

Teach us to work with You.

Lord, teach us to stand in the gap for our families, our church, our nation, and the
generations to come.
Lord, teach us to partner with You until Your will is accomplished on earth through
our lives.

Teach us to live for You.

Lord, teach us to become men and women of prayer, wisdom, holiness, and spiritual
authority.
Lord, teach us to live lives that continually reflect Your presence and bring glory to
Your Name.

Closing Declaration

Father, as You teach us to pray, teach us to seek You above all else, to become more
like Christ, to hear Your voice, to partner with Your purposes, and to live lives that
bring glory to Your Name.
