Serving

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

What a blessing it is to be able to give back. And, what better way to advance the Kingdom of God than by serving right here at theBridge! We have lots of ministries on campus, small group leadership positions, as well as community outreach.

Community Outreach

Open Hands Backpack Program

TheBridge partners with the local elementary schools to provide meals on the weekend for 180 students each week during the school year. It's so exciting to  have individuals, groups, and families come along side and help with packing, sorting, delivering, and fund raising.

Serve Our City

Every year, theBridge takes on a large project that makes a great impact on our community. We have built a house, partnered with area civic institutions, and helped local businesses. We love taking 1 Sunday away from formal "church" to go out and BE the church!

Serving at theBridge

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

No matter what your giftings are, we have a place for you. Do you enjoy being with children? Do you make people feel welcomed? Can you wave, smile, and greet people warmly? How about organizing, planning, or some computer work?  Do you love music, on or off the stage?

Whether it's kid's ministry, small group leadership, Guest Services, or a more low-key role on our prayer team, come be a part of any of theBridge's serve teams and advance God's Kingdom!

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

Requesting to volunteer and serve at theBridge is quite easy! Either through our app or here on our website, we invite you to indicate where you would like to serve. A staff member will then be in touch with you guiding you through the next steps.

How do I volunteer with kids?

We have several steps that we ask BridgeKid volunteers to complete. It involves an application, background check, and a one-on-one meeting with the director of the desired age group. Everyone who successfully completes all the required steps will be invited to serve in our BridgeKids programs.

How do I volunteer with students?

We ask Thrive volunteers to successfully complete a background check and a one-on-one meeting with the Thrive Youth Pastor. Everyone who successfully completes all the required steps will be invited to serve in our vibrant and growing Thrive programs.

How do I volunteer with music?

Anyone who is interested in serving with our worship, sound, or media teams should fill out and submit an application. The Worship Pastor will ask you to sit in on a Tuesday night worship practice as well as submit an audition (vocal, instrumental, or both) of your preferred area of serving. Finally, the Worship Pastor will be in touch.
